I'm attending Swarthmore College for my bachelor's degree in computer science. I also have a broad range of academic interests, but I believe that these cross disciplinary skills allow me to form connections with my students and communicate with them in an effective way. When I work with students, my focus is on helping them understand the fundamentals of any subject so that students can apply that knowledge to answer new questions or solve problems. I believe that this is more effective long-term than memorizing formulas or tricks. I pledge to do whatever I can to help my students succeed. I can tutor algebra, calculus, chemistry, geometry, Mandarin Chinese, art, computer engineering, electrical engineering, pre-calculus, trigonometry, physics, computer science, essays, writing, public speaking, and others. I can also help students prepare for the ACT, SAT, and other standardized exams.
